Can l claim insurance for accidently putting the wrong fuel into my car?
Q. l recently put unleaded into my diesel vehicle and drove until it stopped ( l did not realize l had did this until later) l have had my car repaired to the amount of over $1000. Can l claim this on my insurance, as accidental damage. l have full comprehensive insrance on my vehicle, and also have home contents.

A. No, that wasn't an accident, that was operator error. 2 different things. Insurance will not cover it.
