How can u b competitive and successful, yet stay on top, or at least hold ur position without others tearing u?
Q. Im good at my job but get the feeling that as the world has it, one persons success isnt anyone else's happiness and ppl cant wait to make mince meat outta u. Any tips on how to counteract politics, manipulation and ppl wanting to screw u up? Help, Im 22.

A. I guess that all depends on how you become successful. At 22, unless you have inherited you position, you cannot call yourself successful; it is because of your position that you are successful and you have no control over how the boss will feel about what you do unless you continuously improve. See, there are people wanting your position and they'll do anything to get it, especially if you are good at what you do; it's like you make it look easier than it is because you can do it so well. And, you know, there are people who are good at manipulation, politics, and screwing, but you just have to keep aware of any changes and be quick in adaptation. Don't be slow to react to anything.
